Moving On is the largest arts in mental health public art programme in the UK. Willis Newson, Bristol-based Arts Consultants, devised and project managed this programme, which is the creation of 36 site specific artworks for five mental health sites in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

This arts programme, part of the £72 million PFI capital developments for Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) is due for completion in Winter 2006.

"'Moving on' is unique: it is impressive for the scale of the commission for arts in mental health; remarkable as a site specific collection of quality artwork; and exemplary for the evaluation of the project now underway." Writes Susan Francis, Architectural Adviser, Future Healthcare Network, NHS Confederation in September 06 issue of Hospital Development Magazine.
