Louise Gardiner

Louise Gardiner is an artist and illustrator. She has exhibited widely, sold over 250 original works and been featured in various magazines including 'Crafts'.

Her work is colourful, depicting people of all different shapes and sizes to celebrate people's individuality and to make people smile. She works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, printmaking and embroidery.

Louise is experienced at working with groups, and has worked with 'Age Concern', who running a 'magic handbag' making workshop.

Louise's most recent commission was for the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where she created a series of embroidered wall works on the theme of 'Wacky races'. These decorate the corridor on the way to the operating theatre to help distract the children.
