Chris Tipping

Chris Tipping is a site specific artist. He produces a diverse range of work of varying scales, materials and budgets. His projects are developed though extensive research and consultation with the users of the sites. Chris is particularly interested in how people navigate around a space. Proportion, rhythm, colour and texture are important and constant features in his work.

Chris has worked on many commissions including several departments of the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. He has created a 13 square metre screen for the oncology department, hand-cut and inlaid linoleum flooring designs, and sandblasted glass panels and colour schemes for the new MRI Unit.
