Callington Road: Older Adult Unit Garden Artworks - Marion Brandis

Ceramic artist Marion Brandis will create a series of artworks and decorative features to enhance the path around the garden of the Functional Ward of the new Older Adult Unit, and introduce elements of surprise, intrigue and discovery. The artworks will appeal to the senses, especially sound, sight and touch and encourage people out into the garden. Marion will be working on ideas around pieces which interact with nature such as water features, bird baths, feeding tables and sundials etc.

Draft Designs for Older Adult Unit Garden Artworks

Marion has designed several artworks to decorate the functional ward garden and create focal points. A daisy chain theme links the artworks. Artworks include a daisy chain path, made from porcelain ceramic inlays, an obelisk bird feeder, a spiral-shaped water feature, mosaic block paving and decorative planters.
