Callington Road: Older Adult Unit Wandering Trail - Fit Design

3D Designers Fit Design will be creating a series of artworks to wall surfaces inside the Dementia Ward to provide interest, distraction and stimulation and to encourage walking routes around the ward. The artworks will appeal to the senses and attract and invite tactile exploration.

Draft Design for Wandering Trail for Dementia Ward of Older Adult Unit

Following consultation with staff and service users, Fit have devised a concept for an installation fixed to the clinic wall made up of Photographic images of Bristol's heritage and locality and interactive elements. The images and elements are linked by a stainless steel river based on the course of the River Avon. The interactive elements include items which light up or can be turned and an aroma box to create scents.
