North Somerset: Coast Entrance Pathway - David Watson

recycled glass path inlay by David Watson for Coast Resource Centre, North Somerset photo by Paul HighnamDavid Watson has created recycled glass artworks for the external pathways that lead from the public pavement to the two entrances of the Coast Resource Centre at Diamond Batch.

The artworks help to define the way to the 2 separate entrances leading to the Adult and Older Adult areas of the building. Tall glass markers in blue, green and earthy colours lead to the Adult entrance and glass path inlays in the form of different biscuits lead to the Older Adult entrance.

David ran 2 workshops at Priory Secondary School called 'Treading Carefully' which were aimed at children gaining a better understanding of mental health issues.
