Callington Road

AWP has planned capital developments of approximately £72 million across a series of new building developments in Avon. These will all be complete by November 2006. The building developments are being carried out through a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) partnership with Ryhurst. There are 15 new units across 4 locality sites. 16 artwork commissions were installed on this site (link to Artworks-Callington Road page)

The new developments at Callington Road Hospital consist:

• Adult Acute (46 beds)
• Education, catering & Management Facilities (including Clinical Academy)
• 20 rehabilitation places in 2 houses
• Intensive care (12 beds)
• Drugs misuse (5 beds)
• Therapies unit
• Older Adult Acute (44 beds)
• Older Adult Resource Centre
