South Gloucestershire

AWP has planned capital developments of approximately £72 million across a series of new building developments in Avon. These will all be complete by November 2006. The building developments are being carried out through a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) partnership with Ryhurst. There are 15 new units across 4 locality sites. 6 artwork commissions were installed on this site.

The new developments for South Gloucestershire are located near Bristol and consist:

• Women’s PICU
• Community Rehabilitation Unit at 37 Whittucks Road, Hanham (9 beds plus two 3-bedroomed self-contained flats)
• Weston Ward Adult Acute and High Dependency Unit at Southmead Hospital (not part of the PFI)

• Medium Secure Services
• Callington Road
• North Somerset
• South Gloucestershire
