Willis Newson

Willis Newson devised Moving On and has been managing and implementing the programme since 2003.

Willis Newson is a Bristol-based arts consultancy specialising in healthcare and the built environment.

Willis Newson works with health, community and corporate clients across the UK to devise and deliver public art projects, artists-in-residence schemes and arts-in-hospitals programmes. Willis Newson has over 20 years experience of delivering successful arts in health projects and also has specialist experience of public art commissioning and the Private Finance Initiative.

Willis Newson aims to make a difference through each project they undertake. While much of their work is concerned with enhancing physical spaces, they believe that the arts can be a powerful tool in unlocking both individual and community potential. Collaboration and participation are at the heart of what they do, with projects designed to actively engage and involve local communities.

Willis Newson has a small core team who work with a range of specialist associates and artists based on each project’s requirements.
